I have over 15 year experience in the out-of-home industry and led the introduction of programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) in South Africa in 2020. This initiative enhanced the industry by promoting knowledge sharing and thought leadership. To expand this work at a continental level, he established Polygon.
My main aim is to unite media owners from various venues and continue driving the industry towards a programmatic-friendly future. With my extensive collaboration experience with client and agency teams, I strongly feel that I possesses the expertise to deliver value to advertisers. My passion for technology allows me to develop innovative product lines that resonate with advertisers in the DOOH market.
I am a classically trained guitarist specializing in emotive Spanish styles of play and currently have music available on Spotify.
I began my career in advertising about 12 years ago, initially focusing on print sales for renowned Sports, Travel, and Business Magazines. My love for music led me to work for Rolling Stone Magazine South Africa. I then embarked on a 9-year journey at Mark1, where I gained expertise in digital performance marketing, including programmatic advertising. I then got offered an opportunity to join Entravision to sell Boomplay, the largest music streaming platform in Africa and later, started, selling across most of Entravision’s business offerings.
In this role, I am excited about building new relationships with clients and I look forward to introducing Polygon to the market, generating new business, and providing value to digital buyers.
Outside of work, I am a professional drummer headlining events and festivals playing with bands like The Rudimentals and The Rockerfellas. I also love being up in the mountains hiking and in nature camping.
